About Audi Q5

The Audi Q5 arrived on the scene in 2008, establishing itself as a mid-size luxury SUV. It filled the gap between the compact Q3 and the larger Q7. Think of it as a rival to the likes of the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. Initially, production for the global market was centered in Ingolstadt, Germany, Audi's hometown.

However, to meet rising demands, Audi added a second location in San José Chiapa, Mexico in 2016.
