The BYD Sealion 7 is an electric SUV that combines performance with modern design. It features a sleek, ocean-inspired exterior crafted by BYD's Global Design Director, Wolfgang Egger. The interior offers a spacious cabin with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen and premium materials. Under the hood, the Sealion 7 is built on BYD's e-Platform 3.0 Evo, incorporating a 12-in-1 electric drive system. It offers both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options, with the performance model delivering up to 390 kW of power and 690 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with BYD's Blade Battery technology, supporting fast DC charging up to 230 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 24 minutes. In India, BYD has begun accepting bookings for the Sealion 7, with deliveries expected to start on March 7, 2025.
