The Tiago NRG is Tata's "urban toughroader" — a standard Tiago hatchback with 11mm extra ground clearance, black plastic cladding, and roof rails. Priced from ₹7.2 lakh to ₹8.75 lakh (ex-showroom) in its final years, with on-road figures crossing ₹9.5 lakh. It's the car for buyers who want SUV vibes on a hatchback budget — and are willing to pay a ₹30,000 premium for stickers and plastic. Who should buy it? Buyers who want the safety of a Tata, the stance of an SUV, and don't mind explaining to friends why they paid extra for cladding. City commuters who face broken roads daily. Anyone who thinks the standard Tiago is too boring.
